I think many Christians have the same mindset that Rachel had.
“He had wrapped his identity in his cane and in his knee pain and not in the fact that he is the Son of God.”

Wandering around and looking for answers.
One finds answers and decides to rise up to the call.
Insanity and pressure lurking from different corners.
Settling in a path that is good but decide it’s not good enough.
Pressure sinks in. Will power goes deeper.
Pictures created from society, persuading and pulling.
Immediate actions to pursue absolute perfection.
    I need to be perfect.
    Overseeing the already set platform.
A mindset of “I can do better on my stage.”

"When Adam sinned, God immediately came looking for him. When Cain killed Abel, God came looking for him too. When The world sinned, Jesus came looking for us. Why does the church then preach that your sin keeps God away?"

A group of Christians showed up at a Chicago pride parade in July. They were holding up signs saying “I’m sorry that Christians judge you,” “I’m sorry for how the churches treated you,” and “I used to be a bible-banging homophobe, I’m sorry.” THIS IS THE LOVE JESUS TALKED ABOUT. I think this takes a lot of courage, and I wish more people would step up and do this. Love speaks louder than judgement. This is a true Christian attitude. So many more could be reached this way.

For once, yesss, WIN! :)

I just read some where that when he wore John 3:16 on his eye black to a certain game, over 92 million people looked that verse up on Google. That means over 92 million people heard the Gospel just because one man took a stand. Thank you Tim Tebow :)

    Notes Jesus speak your vows

Pleasing words that wrap around me like linen.
You lead and I follow or shall we take turns
taking piggyback rides and make it a communion.
You are my strength and I take joy in that.
Let this vow be simple rhymes like cat in the hat.
A capacity of words comforted by passion and love.
My eyes fixed upon yours, this heart feasted upon yours,
these fingers locked with yours. This is enough.
You are the pursuer in this relationship and let me
not lose sight of what I have because of you.
I acknowledge you for you knew me before birth,
never gave up on me, so I say, yes I do.
Romance me with the vows that you prepared for me.
And let’s dance down the aisle together freely.

    Notes True Worship

    thecottonjin:

    kerrycomstock:

True worship of God is being who He has created you to be. When an inventor invents something he is overwhelmed with joy and wonder when the thing he has created functions or becomes exactly what he intended on it to become. Same with God, He is overwhelmed with joy and adoration when we function and be what He created us to be.

True worship of God is not dependent upon other people or special circumstances, nor does it require a time of meditation. Simply walking through your day and breathing is an act of worship to Him.

    You’re awesome, my sister :)

true worship is not just singing.

Sinners flocked to Jesus. Yet when a Christian sins, we have a tendency to run from him. Weird, huh?

Anonymous asked: after reading your response about us being no longer sinners, i encourage you to listen to some Paul Washer sermons. All preachers who teach biblically admit we are still sinners. we still are sinners though we are saved by grace. If we are no longer sinners then the power of grace has no effect today. If we are no longer sinners, grace only had its effect once when we were saved and it is no longer active. God's grace is eternal because He is the same yesterday today and forever. Hebrews 13:8.

Nah, Grace is active all day, every day :) When I say that we’re not labeled as sinners, I am not saying that we do not struggle with sin. Like you...

Anonymous asked: What would you say to a person when he/she asks, "how can you be drunk in the spirit when the bible says to be sober minded?"

When you’re drunk in the natural, you do not have sound judgment. You are ‘under the influence’ of the substance you have put into your body.

    When...
